Ancient symbol of the Czech lands, the vast Prague Castle is one of the most important cultural institutions of the Czech Republic. Formerly the heart of the Holy Roman Empire, Prague Castle is now the home of the Czech president and the jewels of the crown.
According to the Guinness Book of Records, Prague Castle is the largest complex cohesive castle in the world, with an area of almost 70,000 m². It has undergone several reconstructions, renovations, fires and was also the site of the second defenestration of Prague, an act that led to the bohemian revolt.
This castle looms over the capital of Bohemia as an illustration of a fairy tale. As beautiful as it is by far, once inside the complex there is a varied collection of museums, galleries and cultural treasures. That is why it is one of the most popular places in the city.
You will meet with your representative directly in front of the San Vito Cathedral to pick up your tickets. Next, circuit B of Prague Castle will start directly. This route runs through the interior of the castle, the Old Royal Palace, the Basilica of St. George, the charming and picturesque alley of Gold, and the impressive stained glass windows of the Cathedral of San Vito.
